Zaid Bustami is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. A Palestinian artist in diaspora, his work draws on acoustic and electronic practices shaped by movement across the Gulf states, the Levant, and North Africa. His practice engages sound, improvisation, and storytelling as tools for care and resistance. In 2025, he received professional development support from the Canada Council for the Arts for Sonic Resistance, a mentorship project focused on anti-colonial music creation.
